Sibblings

Brie and Gavin have become like two peas in a pod. She sings to him, reads to him, and of course smashes heads with him, and he just watches her intently. When Brie comes into the room Gavin just gets the biggest grin on his chubby little face. We can ask her to watch him for us while we cook dinner or get ready to go somewhere and she keeps him perfectly happy for anywhere up to an hour. Brie will hug him and say, "your my best friend Gavin." We just hope they can keep being best friends.

Gavin has been huge and happy right from the beginning. I look back to how uncomfortable it was to be that huge, and I'm all sorts of glad that he's a chubby and happy 3 month old! He is already into 6-9 month clothes and loves to smile and talk to anyone who pays attention to him. There's just something about being chubby that makes a person happy, isn't there?

Living in Monterey has been amazing. We are so excited to be here for a while and have lots of people come and visit!
