We Love Our Growing Kids!

Brie has LOVED being a big girl this last week, and Gavin is getting stronger all the time. He can even stand up by holding on to things like in this picture. This week we have loved being parents . . . other weeks . . . well, I won't go into those.

Gavin was more than ready to start on solid foods. He has been watching us intently at meal times for over a month now and on his very first spoonful he got it in his mouth and swallowed it all. After that he would help Lowell put the spoon in his mouth . . . I guess Daddy just wasn't fast enough for him! He is even all but sleeping through the night now. Way to Go Idaho!!

Brie's First Day of School

Last Tuesday was Brie's first day of preschool. She came home super excited and telling me how she fought over the "red puppy." She also came home with a new imaginary friend "Kalyssa." It's nice that she finally has a new best friend that's a girl! And . . . Drum Roll . . . . . . . . . As of this morning I would officially say Brie has been Potty Trained!!! She woke up dry and hasn't had an accident in THREE days!!! And there was MUCH rejoicing!
